Synopsis "...And Samuel Had Five Wives: A Historical Novel"

Oh my! Mary Ann would never put up with that! Just the thought of living in polygamy made a shudder run down Samuel's spine. He could not imagine that the plural marriage lifestyle would ever be embraced by either of them, it was too unthinkable. What kind of people chose to have more than one wife? Was that way of life limited to those who didn't know better? Or was it ever embraced by "normal" folk like he and his sweet wife? When he learned his most trusted friend and confidant was part of it, he was forced to look at the situation in a different frame of mind. As he gained insight, he was startled to realize how his thinking was changing, and his future was to be more exciting and fulfilling than he could imagine.
