A Grocery Store Clerk - Melissa Smith

Remy Chambers is a grocery store clerk in the beautiful ski town of Bethel, Maine. At 42 years of age, she loves her drama-free life! In addition to bagging groceries, Remy is a private chef in Bethel, a perfect wedding destination! The private chef business is lucrative and entertaining; it's never been dangerous...until now. When Remy meets Jaxon in her grocery line at work, she has no idea how drastically her life is about to change. In fact, even if she'd been warned, she wouldn't have listened. When she goes to his house to prepare a meal, she finds herself smitten, burning the salmon black as the evening progresses. Jaxon should have come with an alarm, like a smoke detector...a loud, piercing siren urging others to stay away. Instead, he came with a charming personality, brilliant blue eyes, and strong, strong hands. It's not long before Remy is wrapped up in his world, and then, one evening, one phone call changes everything.
