Marc Bernabé
Marc Bernabé (L'Ametlla del Vallès, Barcelona, July 24, 1976) is a Spanish writer and translator specialized in manga and anime, with a notable career in the dissemination of Japanese culture. He studied Translation and Interpretation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and delved into Japanology at the Osaka University of Foreign Studies. In 2000, he founded Daruma Serveis Lingüístics, SL, where he manages his projects and translations.
He is the author of the series "Japanese in Manga" (2001-2006), an educational collection that uses manga to teach the Japanese language. He is also co-author of "Kanji to Remember" (2001 and 2004) and "Kana to Remember" (2003), works focused on teaching the Japanese writing systems. His book "Notes from Japan" (2002) offers a chronicle of his experience in the Asian country.
