Lian Hearn

Gillian Rubinstein, born on August 29, 1942 in Potten End, Hertfordshire, England, is a prolific author known for her literary work under the pseudonym Lian Hearn. After moving to Australia in 1973, Rubinstein dedicated herself to writing, excelling in the fantasy literature genre.

Under the name of Lian Hearn, her most recognized series is Legends of the Otori, set in a fictional world inspired by feudal Japan.
