Grínor Rojo
Grínor Rojo holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Iowa, United States (1971). His areas of expertise include Literature and culture in Latin America, Critical theory, and Latin American Theater. He is the author of over 150 publications, including articles, book chapters, and books. Among them, the most recent are: Critical History of Chilean Literature. Vol. I. The Colonial Era. He has supervised numerous master's and doctoral theses, both at Cecla and the Department of Literature at the University of Chile. In research, he has been awarded numerous national Fondecyt projects and has collaborated on several international ones. He is currently the lead researcher of the Fondecyt project "Latin American Culture of the Second Modernity: 1920-1973". Among the courses he has taught recently are: Theory of the Novel, Theory of Poetry, and Latin American Culture of the Second Modernity: 1920-1973.
