Gordon Neufeld
Gordon Neufeld is a Canadian developmental psychologist, known for his focus on attachment theory and its application in child rearing and education. With over 40 years of clinical experience, he has developed a model that highlights the importance of emotional relationships between parents and children for healthy development. He is the author of the book Hold On to Your Kids: Why Parents Need to Matter More Than Peers (2004), co-written with Gabor Maté, which has been translated into several languages and is considered a fundamental work in the field of parenting.
