Themelios is an international, evangelical, peer-reviewed theological journal that expounds and defends the historic Christian faith. Themelios began in 1975 and was operated by RTSF/UCCF in the UK, and it became a digital journal operated by The Gospel Coalition in 2008. D. A. Carson (Montreal, 1946) is a prominent evangelical theologian and New Testament professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Illinois. PhD in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, he has been a pastor and international speaker. He is the author and co-author of more than fifty books on biblical studies and theology.

Among his most recognized works are An Introduction to the New Testament (2009), written with Douglas J. Moo, and the Biblical Theology Study Bible (2019), of which he was the general editor. His approach combines academic rigor with a deep theological understanding, being an influential figure in contemporary evangelical theology.
