Synopsis "The Tile Guy"

Alexandre and Fat Joe grew up about as close as two friends could be. But thanks to a set of unfortunate circumstances, Alex was forced to leave his old life behind. Now he has a new home in a new neighborhood, not quite as nice as the one he used to live in. To make matters worse, he has to adjust to his new surroundings without Joe by his side, when the distance gets in the way of their friendship. While settling into his new life in Queens, Alexandre suddenly finds himself caught up in the activities of one of the biggest street gangs around. There he finds acceptance, fun, and excitement-but he also witnesses many of the perils of the criminal way of life, and it isn't long before he wants out. It's through distancing himself from the gang that Alexandre ends up reuniting with his former best friend-and it just so happens that Joe has an intriguing job offer for his former pal. As part of Joe's "family," he's introduced to riches beyond his wildest imagination. But as loyalties are broken and stunning betrayals exposed, the true cost of this newfound lifestyle finally becomes clear.
