Synopsis "Rostro de Sangre (in Spanish)"

Jack Cole trabaja para el FBI. Su especialidad es descifrar la personalidad y el modus operandi de los asesinos más terroríficos gracias a sus capacidades extremas de observación, a su memoria «eldética».
Jack reconstruye los detalles relacio- nados con el crimen observando la escena y los cadáveres. Cuando su padre, un importante pintor americano enfermo de Alzheimer, está a punto de morir en un accidente, Jake se ve obligado a regresar a casa y enfrentarse a su pasado.
En Montauk, el sheriff local, Dan Hauser, pide ayuda a Jake para resolver un horrible asesinato, el desollamiento de una madre anónima y su hijo, crimen que recuerda muchísimo al de la madre de Jake.
Pronto se descubren otros crímenes con idénticas características. Durante una breve visita a la casa de su padre, la esposa y el hijo de Jake desaparecen sin dejar rastro. Jake está desesperado, con el tiempo en su contra, pensando que el asesino puede estar a punto de matar y torturar a su esposa y a su hijo.
