Shinichi Fukuda is a Japanese mangaka known for his work My Dress-Up Darling (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi o Suru), a romantic comedy that explores the world of cosplay. The series was published from January 2018 to March 2025 in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine, compiling a total of 14 volumes. In 2020, the work received the Electronic Comics Prize from Comic Seymour and, by 2023, had surpassed 10 million copies in circulation. Before this success, Fukuda published other works such as Shibaraku (2009–2011) and Momoiro Meloik (2012–2016). His style is characterized by combining elements of comedy, romance, and slice of life, with a focus on strong female characters and themes related to otaku culture. Despite his growing notoriety, Fukuda maintains a low profile, not revealing personal details or appearing in public events, which adds an air of mystery to his figure.
