Joaquim Soler Ribaudi is a Doctor in Psychology and clinical psychologist at the Borderline Personality Disorder Unit of the Psychiatry Service at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona. He is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Legal Medicine at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Specialized in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), he has led and collaborated on various research projects focused on the assessment, genetics, and psychological and pharmacological treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder and depression. He has published more than 80 articles in indexed scientific journals related to these topics.
In 2022, he published Manual para soltar. Practicando la Aceptación Radical de la Terapia Dialéctica Conductual, a practical guide that integrates acceptance and mindfulness strategies for emotional regulation. He is also co-author of Claves y enigmas de la personalidad: ¿Por qué soy así? (2021), a work that explores personality traits and disorders from a popular science perspective. Soler Ribaudi is a member of the board of the European Society for the Study of Personality Disorders (ESSPD) and co-founder and president of the Spanish Society of Dialectical Therapy (SP-DBT).
