Lola López Mondéjar (Molina de Segura, 1958) is a clinical psychologist, psychoanalyst, and Spanish writer. She has taught at universities such as those in Murcia and Seville, and is a guest speaker at various Spanish and foreign psychoanalytic universities and associations. Her literary work includes essays, short stories, and novels, noted for her focus on the intersection between psychoanalysis and literature.
Among her most outstanding works are Mi amor desgraciado, La primera vez que no te quiero, Cada noche, cada noche, and the storybooks El pensamiento mudo de los peces, Lazos de sangre, and Qué mundo tan maravilloso. In 2024, she was awarded the Anagrama Essay Prize for her work Sin relato. Atrofia de la capacidad narrativa y crisis de la subjetividad, where she analyzes the loss of narrative ability in the digital age and its effects on human subjectivity.
