Deborah Allwright is a distinguished British illustrator specialized in picture books for children. After studying art and design in London, she began her career in advertising and editorial design before dedicating herself to children's book illustration. She has collaborated on more than 50 works, translated into more than 25 languages, working with renowned authors and publishers.

Among her most notable works are "The Night Pirates" (2005), written by Peter Harris, and "There Is No Dragon In This Story" (2017), in collaboration with Lou Carter. Her talent has been recognized with nominations for prestigious awards, such as the V&A Illustration Award and the Kate Greenaway Medal. She resides in London, where she continues to create illustrations that delight children and adults alike.
