Synopsis "La Hora del mar (in Spanish)"

Unos días antes de la noche de San Juan, los océanos de todo el mundo se llenan de peces muertos. El fenómeno llama la atención de las agencias medioambientales, que no encuentran explicación alguna. A bordo del Vizconde de Eza, de la Secretaría General de Pesca Marítima, un grupo de biólogos y geólogos parten hacia el Mediterráneo para realizar un informe, pero acaban asistiendo, con infi nitohorror, a una de las experiencias más increíbles de toda su vida. Paralelamente, los fondos marinos explotan: una cadena de seísmos submarinos asola los mares con fatales consecuencias en las costas. Esto, sin embargo, es sólo el principio de una serie de acontecimientos que pondrá a la Humanidad en jaque a medida que ésta se enfrente a un inesperado adversario: el planeta Tierra.

Carlos Sisí (Madrid, 1971) is a Spanish writer and entrepreneur known for his prolific output in the genres of horror, science fiction, and fantasy. He lives in Calahonda, Málaga, a city that inspired his successful zombie saga Los Caminantes, published in 2009 and which became a sales phenomenon in Spain.

Throughout his career, Sisí has explored various literary subgenres. In 2013, he won the Minotauro Award with Panteón, a science fiction novel that deviates from his usual focus on horror. Other notable works include La hora del mar, Alma, Rojo (vampiric trilogy), Homine Ex Machina, and El Nigromante. Additionally, he has ventured into comics with Midnight and in creating humor strips under the title Historias con alma.

Outside of writing, Sisí runs a digital magazine and a family business in design and internet solutions. He is also fond of toy photography and video games. His narrative style is characterized by a deep influence from classical literature and popular culture, including comics and video games.

exelentee muy buen libro, carlos sisi nos sigue sorprendiendo, tal como los caminantes esta novela es genial aunque no tanto como su trilogia zombie, un comienzo atrapante, en desarrollo cautivador aunque algo tedioso y a mi opinion un buen final, aunque algo abrupto. recomendable 100%
