Hydra 3..... The Rocket Man is the third in James Jan's trilogy about counter-terrorism. It tells the story of a weapons expert from Hamas hired by a hard-line faction in Iran to put together a plan to fire new guided rocket into Israel from a specially converted tanker. The tanker becomes involved in a double hijacking off Somalia, when a top British scientist is taken hostage. Colonel Mike Roberts and two teams from the British Special Forces are tasked with rescuing the hostages, and as the Rocket man's intentions are discovered, with preventing the missile strikes, which turn out to be potentially far more devastating than even the terrorists had envisaged.
