Synopsis "Gose Jokoak (in Basque)"

urtero, iparramerika izan zenaren hondakinen gainean, 24 gazte behartzen dituzte gosearen jokoetan parte hartzera eta telebistaz ematen dute joko horietako minutu bakoitza.
gerraz betetako iragan batek 12 barrutitan banatutako herri bat utzi dute. kapitolioaren aginpide tiranikoaren pean bizi dira herritarrak, miseriarik handienean eta norbere barrutitik irteteko askatasunik gabe. pertsona bat baino ez da ausartuko arauak haustera eta bere familiarentzat zer jana ekartzera: katniss da, hamasei urteko neska bat.
haren printzipioak proban jarriko dira gosearen jokoetan. urtero antolatzen ditu kapitolioak telebista bidezko ikuskizun hori herritarrak hankaperatzeko asmoz. barruti bakoitzeko bi ordezkari aurkezten dira joko horietara eta aurkako giro muturreko batean bizitzera behartzen dituzte bata bestearen kontra borrokatzera, heriotzaraino, bat bakarra gelditzen den arte. bat baino ez.
katnissek bere jarrerarekin erakutsiko digu, egoerarik muturrekoenetan ere, leku egin behar zaiola maitasunari eta errespetuari, baztertu behar dela traizioa eta hautatu behar dela adiskidetasuna, tiranoei kontra egin behar zaiela, norbere printzipioei eutsiz.
katnissen abenturak bihotza kolkoan edukiko gaitu bukaeraraino.
ordua da.
ezin da atzera egin.
jokoak hastera doaz.
katnissek hondarrera atera behar du eta bizirik irauteko borrokari ekin behar dio.
hasi bitez gosearen hirurogeita hamalaugarren jokoak!

Suzanne Collins is an American writer with great international recognition, known mainly for her successful saga The Hunger Games. Born on August 10, 1962 in Hartford, Connecticut, Collins grew up in a military family, which deeply influenced her perspective and the themes she addresses in her works.

Collins studied Drama and Telecommunications at Indiana University, in addition to obtaining a master's degree in dramatic writing from New York University. Her career began as a screenwriter for children's television programs, working on projects like Clarissa Explains It All and Little Bears. This period marked the beginning of her passion for telling stories that combined entertainment and meaningful messages.

In 2003, she published her first novel, Gregor the Overlander, part of the Underland Chronicles series, a fantasy saga aimed at a young audience. However, global success came in 2008 with The Hunger Games, the first book of the dystopian trilogy that also includes Catching Fire (2009) and Mockingjay (2010).

The Hunger Games is set in Panem, a fictional country where an oppressive government forces young people to participate in a televised fight to the death. The story, starring Katniss Everdeen, combines action, social criticism, and ethical dilemmas, resonating with readers of all ages. The trilogy has sold millions of copies in more than 50 languages and was successfully adapted into films, consolidating Collins as one of the most influential authors of the 21st century.
