César Vidal Manzanares (Madrid, 1958) is a Spanish historian, writer, and broadcaster, naturalized American. PhD in History, Law, Philosophy, and Theology, he has published over 100 works ranging from historical dissemination to novels and political essays. His focus is on topics such as totalitarianism, the history of Christianity, and comparative religions. Additionally, he has hosted programs like "La Linterna" and "Camino del Sur" on COPE network, and currently directs the radio program "La Voz".
Among his most notable works are Los primeros cristianos (2010), El Holocausto (2011), El último tren a Zúrich (2004), La escalera de Jacob (2018), Mentiras de la Historia... de uso común (2006), El caso Lutero (2008), and Los tres días del gladiador (2005). His prolific literary output has been recognized with awards such as the Novela Histórica Ciudad de Cartagena (2000), the Premio Jaén (2004), and the Premio Algaba de Biografía (2006)
