Synopsis "DUDA SISTEMÁTICA, LA (in Spanish)"

-LUIS RUBIO

Francisco Labastida Ochoa (Los Mochis, Sinaloa, August 14, 1942) is a Mexican economist and politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). Throughout his career, he has held various public offices, including Governor of Sinaloa (1987-1992), Secretary of the Interior, and presidential candidate in 2000, being the first PRI candidate to lose a presidential election.

In 2024, Labastida published his political autobiography titled Systematic Doubt, where he recalls his experiences in different governments and analyzes, with self-criticism, economic and political decisions made in recent decades. This work belongs to the genre of political memoirs and seeks to contribute to the debate on the present and future of Mexico.
