Elísabet Benavent (Gandía, Spain, 1984) is a Spanish writer known for her contemporary romance novels. After studying Audiovisual Communication and specializing in Art, she worked in the corporate sector while secretly writing. In 2013, she made the leap to literature by self-publishing her first digital novel. Her great success came with the Valeria saga, which was adapted by Netflix in 2020. In 2021 the movie Fuimos canciones inspired by the Bilogía Canciones y recuerdos was one of the most acclaimed releases also by the Netflix platform. Another very well-known work that also crossed over to the screen is Un cuento perfecto (2020).
