Synopsis "Cavers"

When an ancient diary is discovered on the planet Ophius; one of Earth's five sister planets, it is revealed that the planet's earliest explorers were not from Earth, as history had taught them, but from Guiadon, a planet twelve light years away. The 800 year old diary contains the story of a forgotten group of men called "cavers" that travel to the planet Slineadora in order to hunt very dangerous mean spirited animals called trisks. The trisks are hunted for the crystal substance found in the gelatinous fluid of their brain cavity called verillium, which is a very powerful energy source that is used to operate the inner stellar gateways that connect Earth to its five sister planets. The tale is told by a young man named Rayne Comstone who joins his older brother's caving team. His story depicts the many exciting and dangerous adventures encountered during his first caving expedition, which includes the space flight to the planet, the planet's harsh environment, pirates, and of course the ferocious cave dwelling creatures they are hunting. The diary also holds a missing link to an 800 year old mystery that connects the the history of Ophius with the men from Guiadon, 72 trillion miles away.
