J. Michael Straczynski (born in 1954) is an American writer, screenwriter, and producer known for his work in comics, television, and film. In the comic world, he stood out for his period in The Amazing Spider-Man (2001-2007), where he introduced innovative plots and explored deeper facets of the character.
