Johnny is the son of Brooklyn mobster Giovanni Falcone, growing up in the streets of Brooklyn. As a young man, he yearns to earn his father's approval and is drawn into the dark world of organized crime. Against his father's wishes, he gets involved with Mafia boss Vito Agostino, who takes him under his wing and secures a medical excuse for the Army. He sets him up in a mechanical shop, but Johnny soon discovers it's just a front for the largest car theft ring in Manhattan. Johnny quickly rises through the ranks, proving his loyalty and earning a reputation within the family.
